My first visit was two weeks ago and we bought shrimps and kalbi beef by the pound and some fresh vegetables. It's a mom and pop grocery store and it seemed like it only caters to Mexicans or South Americans, but it's not. The store caters to whoever... Friendly staff and pretty clean and organized. “ As a Bay Area transplant, I've been searching for a good Mexican Market and found my spot. They must've moved because the market is located in a strip shopping center on the corner of Louise & Main, conveniently between Lombardo's & Save Mart. The store is clean, selves stocked, produce fresh and the they have hot food to go. Picked up a chili verde & Birria taco along with half a dozen tamales. They had sweet, chicken and cheese tamales left. You get 1/2 dozen good sized tamales for $9.99 and the taste is good. My fave was the cheese & jalapeño. The tacos had a good amount of meat and not fatty pieces. Only complaint was the chili verde had no hint of chili. ”
